Introduction to CD++
CD++ is a tool for Discrete-Event modeling and simulation, based on the DEVS formalism. Different simulation algorithms are implemented:

In Discrete Event Modeling & Simulation: Enabling Future Technologies. Springer-Verlag. 2001. DEVS is a discrete event paradigm that allows a hierarchical and modular description of the models. Each DEVS model can be behavioral (atomic) or structural (coupled), consisting of inputs, outputs, state variables, and functions to compute the next states and outputs. Cell-DEVS allows modeling systems that can be represented as executable cell spaces.
